RV’s Picks:
Oklahoma -7
TCU will have problems scoring 10 points, what an atrocity of a season for the Horned Frogs. Fucking douches.

Georgia +8
I get an extra point because I jumped on this at the right time. Although I don’t disagree with what Brewer said, the biggest reason Bama has problems is that Saban just isn’t that good of a coach. He wouldn’t even be considered for a Big East East job at this point. 7th best MAC team.

Florida State -14
Agreed, GT is in trouble, already petitioning for a bowl as they didn’t play enough FBS schools.

WVU -21
I don’t normally like big spreads, but WVU can’t throw up 21 in the first 10 minutes, so you know…Charlie Weis.

South Alabama +6
Because why not? Hawaii is just putrid.

Though a lifelong Notre Dame fan and unapologetic homer, RV actually can appreciate other teams and evaluate talent accordingly. RV clocked in at 3-1 in Week 13, bringing his season total to 21-14 against the spread, meaning he’s running 60% on the season.

Went back n forth on this game. When in doubt take the dog.

Georgia +7 (-105)
I SMELL UPSET!!!!! ‘Bama is HORRIBLE against decent QBs.. and Georgia has one. Annnnnnd ‘Bama doesn’t have a pass rusher and Georgia’s is a “traditional passing QB”. I’ll gladly take the points and wouldn’t be surprised if they win outright!

Kansas State -11½
I’ve had a soft spot for Optimus Klein for winning me so much money this year… ride em till the end!

Florida State -14
Opposite could be said for FSU for always fucking the spread. Hopefully they rebound from being Gator Bait and don’t embarrass me.

Nebraska -3
The B1G is still playing!?! Meh

Week Ten was bar none the best week of the season for me and perhaps one of the best weeks of my wagering career. The five picks selected for this site clocked in at 5-0, thus bringing my season total to 10-5. Wagers made off the site were 4-1, so I’ll take 9-1 all day everyday. With just site wagers, I’m clocking a 67% rate against the spread, putting me much better than both of the slapnuts above. (WARNING: Taunting will most likely result in an 0-5 week). Thursday nights are often the hardest to wrangle some strange. Jason also clearly throws conventional rules and direction out the window and gives you more than the five that RV and I do. But, alas, like most things in life, when you’re winning you can punch your own ticket.

Last week, I broke my cardinal rule and bet on one of the teams I’m passionate about, taking Kentucky and 17.5 points against Arkansas. The bloody outcome of that game was actually called earlier than expected thanks to a lightning delay, and as such, the wager was refunded. So that totally didn’t count! Therefore, I’m 2-2 on the season. Strange .500 still is .500.

I’m breaking my cardinal rule in that I’m betting on Kentucky. However, as much of a dumpster fire as Arkansas has been this season, I’m feeling it. Biggest risk this week is South Carolina on the road at LSU, but with a great offense and a stagnant LSU offense, I’ll take a Top 5 team on a moneyline anytime I can get it. Like the other two, I’m 0-0 so far this season in Pick ‘Em, but running just a shade under 60% on the season.
