Jason and Alan are back to revisit Colgate and the season-opening win and the defensive coming out party for Kevin Kelly. They then welcome on the always entertaining Adam Jacobi from Iowa Hawkeye hangout BlackHeartGoldPants.com where we learn what to expect from Iowa, things to do in Iowa City, and what are reasonable expectations for Cards fans. Finally, the fellas close it out with a look around the MAC and the nation for week 1 and talk a little about the cloud and the photos within it. It’s an OTPcast to not be missed.

Great podcast. Adam is one of the best in the college football bloggin’ biz. One point I do want to make about the 2005 contest: Ferentz was absolutely merciful despite the 56-0 score. It was 35-0 early in the 2nd quarter and Kirk had his 2nd string on the field before halftime. (That was the game BSU had suspended 13 starters for the ridiculous crime of TOO MANY TEXTBOOKS). That game easily could have been 100-0 in the hands of a more douchebaggy coach. That it ended just 56-0 is an eternal credit to Ferentz. Really.
Thanks Papa Lou! The OTPcast is definitely hitting its stride.
