Round One, Day One of CardMadness is in the books, and we have 16 of our Final 32 set. Today’s session saw upsets in three of four regions, with only the Emens Entertainment Regional going chalk. Largest margin of victory belonged to Scott Wise with an 86% edge over Sam Smith, while Tamara Bowie, Tom Davis, and Anthony Edmonds all saw a 5% edge good enough for smallest margin on Day 1. Great contest, sorry to see Kevin Ray (‘Walk The Moon’ – band) not in it. It is funny that Kevin & the band are winning in the MTV ‘March Madness’ contests (best bands) but he can’t get into Ball State’s contest.
I have no idea who that is so hard to include him. Perhaps next time!
