Stan Parrish Not Returning?

Stan Parrish, BSU's next ex-coach?

Multiple sources, none of which are anything close to an official announcement, are saying that Stan Parrish will not be returning to the Cardinals next season. Whether this is an outright termination or a role reassignment is unclear, and nothing official has come from the University yet. I would guess that most familiar with the situation, myself included, are a bit surprised, but not totally shocked. If it’s true, I do feel bad for Stan as not succeeding is always a tough pill to swallow, but I can’t say that this move, if it’s true, has the potential to bring about some positives to this program. I’ll be driving 10 hours tomorrow back to Indiana for Thanksgiving, but we’ll be on this when we’re able to be. Stay tuned…

  1. Given the poor financial state of Ball State athletics I would be surprised if we can afford to fire him or even reassign him within the department. I wonder if Stan decided he’d had enough and decided to resign? It’ll be interesting to see who we come up with to replace Stan.
