Today is MidAmerican Conference Media Day in Detroit, MI. We should have updates as they come in, and the first one isn’t pleasing to anyone supporting the Cardinal and White.
In the Media Preseason Poll, the Cardinals are picked fifth out of 6 in the MAC West. The MAC website released the poll, and the number of points garnered by each team as well as the championship predictions:

So let me get this straight… BSU goes 14-2 in league play over the last two seasons and then gets voted second to last in their division? Right.
What say you Stan Parrish?
“You have a lot of pride in your program, and we’ve been the MAC West champs and co-champs the past two seasons,” Parrish said. “But people have a tendency to dwell on who you lost and not on what you have back. … But in reality it doesn’t matter a lick. I think this will be a good motivator. (Being picked fifth) will be a good motivator to all of us.”
Cue Mr. Burns…
