Kellen Lewis, efficient scrambling quarterback and soon-to-be receiver, has been dismissed from IU’s football team. Reports are stating that he has been dismissed for undisclosed reasons, but my sources are telling me it’s for a failed drug test. A school record holder in completions and passes, this is no doubt a huge blow for IU this season should the whole Ben Chappell thing not pan out. Good for Bill Lynch. It takes some balls to not give your star a third chance (see pre-2008 suspension).
